Uno degli appuntamenti da non perdere \u00e8 STILL NOW. The dinner, un evento organizzato da <strong>f f e r r o n e<\/strong>, il brand americano fondato da Felicia Ferrone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;evento si svolger\u00e0 nella splendida Villa Mirabello, una delle dimore pi\u00f9 antiche di Milano, risalente al XV secolo, e sar\u00e0 aperta al pubblico durante il Fuorisalone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>STILL NOW. The dinner \u00e8 una festa per gli occhi, i sensi e l&#8217;immaginazione ambientata in uno scenario teatrale monocromatico ultramarino dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato. Qui, sar\u00e0 possibile scoprire le collezioni in vetro del brand, presentate in un&#8217;interpretazione artistica della cena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;installazione \u00e8 una mise en place monocromatica che evoca gli still life del Seicento, dove forme eterogenee di oggetti comuni si stagliano da una colata di colore, un ultramarino intenso e sacrale allo stesso tempo. Le collezioni di Ferrone, contemporanee nel design ma caratterizzate da un tocco retr\u00f2 e futuristico allo stesso tempo, emergono dallo sfondo monocromatico dell\u2019installazione ed entrano in dialogo con gli altri oggetti, proponendo nuove modalit\u00e0 di essere attraverso riattualizzazione e contemporaneit\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gli oggetti comuni tipici del Novecento che compongono l\u2019installazione rappresentano ci\u00f2 che la designer riferisce &#8220;neo-grannyismo&#8221;, un&#8217;esplorazione della memoria, della forma e della rivalorizzazione per enfatizzare come il design sia un valore che trascende l&#8217;obsolescenza e la nostra attuale cultura usa e getta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ferrone mostrer\u00e0 come il \u201cbuon design\u201d \u00e8 in grado di superare le scansioni temporali e pu\u00f2 aiutarci a stabilire connessioni pi\u00f9 significative con il nostro passato, presente e futuro, in un\u2019ottica di sostenibilit\u00e0 degli oggetti il cui utilizzo deve prolungarsi nel tempo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La riflessione sugli oggetti comuni unitamente all\u2019assemblaggio formale dell\u2019installazione, ha ispirato la designer a intraprendere uno studio sui dipinti di nature morte, che storicamente raffiguravano oggetti domestici. Nasce cos\u00ec la collaborazione tra il fotografo Jonathan Allen e la designer Felicia Ferrone che ha dato vita a Ultramarinus: Memories of the future, una serie di still life contemporanei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Queste immagini eteree, evidenziando le forme del vetro e degli oggetti monocromatici, ci inducono a guardare diversamente a loro grazie ad una narrazione che assegna bellezza e valore attraverso la forma e l\u2019utilit\u00e0, ribadendo cos\u00ec il valore della durabilit\u00e0 che si traduce in un uso pi\u00f9 consapevole degli oggetti di cui ci circondiamo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La serie trae il proprio nome dal termine latino ultramarinus che significa al di l\u00e0 dal mare perch\u00e9 il pigmento di colore blu intenso derivante dalla polvere del lapislazzulo era importato in Europa da commercianti italiani nel XIV e XV secolo dall\u2019Afghanistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-1 is-cropped
